BVNK achieves enterprise-grade security certification: ISO 27001
BVNK, the stablecoin payments infrastructure provider, has achieved its ISO 27001:2022 certification, the globally recognised standard in information security management.
BVNK received its accreditation from The British Assessment Bureau, a UKAS-accredited certification body, offering the 'gold standard' in ISO certification, backed by the UK Government. BVNK achieved the ISO 27001 standard at the first attempt, with no issues flagged by the auditors during the process.
ISO 27001 is a globally-recognised security framework that assesses how an organisation protects customer data. To get the accreditation, BVNK had to undergo an extensive independent audit that evaluated its information security policies, procedures, reporting and governance structure, infrastructure, and risk management controls.
Lazar Lazarov, BVNK’s Global Head of Information Security, commented: “Reaching the ISO 20071:2022 standard demonstrates that we invest in security at every level of our business, from operational teams to the boardroom, and that we effectively manage security through each stage of product development, project management and decision-making. This is an enterprise-grade stamp of approval on BVNK’s security controls. For our customers, it's an assurance that we handle sensitive information in a trustworthy way and that we’ve reduced the risk of data breaches.”
As part of the ISO 20071 accreditation, BVNK will be independently audited every year to ensure it continues to meet the standards. Learn more about BVNK’s security control in the BVNK Trust Centre. Verify the accreditation at any time with the British Assessment Bureau.
